We stay together in a large fully equipped country estate comprised of four houses surrounding a beautiful swimming pool. The estate is located in the heart of the beautiful Luberon valley in the small village of Rustrel, known as the Colorado of France due to its highly prized red clay hills. There is a French House in the compound for those students who wish to be fully immersed in French 24/7.
Our program is fully integrated in the community of Rustrel, where our students work and play with the French children of the village, and enjoy the local bakery and café.
Geographically, Rustrel is west of Avignon and north of Aix-en-Provence, tucked away in the magnificent Luberon Valley.
Students are housed in rooms within the compound. Towels and sheets are provided and laundered once a week.
A French chef stays with us on-site and provides three meals per day. On excursions, we typically pack a lunch or dinner to take along.
“It was a really good experience to live like a family with people from all over the world… I could confirm that everybody, without any exception, has something wonderful to teach. I broke a barrier that existed in my mind that separated people because of different cultures.” —Julia Rettman, Sao Paolo, Brazil
